NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public
hearing will be held on January 19, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
Council Chambers (9927 - 100 Street, Sexsmith)
The Council of the Town of Sexsmith has given the first reading to the Land Use Bylaw Amendment Bylaw No. 1102 to rezone Lot 1, Block 24, Plan 042 6751, Sexsmith, AB from Single Detached Residential (R1) to Increased Density Residential (R4).

A copy of the proposed bylaw and further information regarding districts is available at the Town Office during normal business hours.
You can speak at a public hearing or provide written comments in advance. Written submissions may be sent by mail or via email five (5) calendar days prior to the meeting. Any submissions received between the deadline and the start of the Public Hearing will be read at the Public Hearing and included in the agenda package after the meeting. *Note: Any submissions received after the Public Hearing cannot be considered in decisions made by Council. Any information you provide may be made public subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. If you wish to speak at a hearing, you will be invited to do so by the Chair as per the Procedural Bylaw.
